The GLMV After Hours Mixer/ Small Business Event will be from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 19 at American Chartered Bank, 471 W Townline Road in Vernon Hills, 847.247.4700

Dan Miller, president and CEO of American Chartered Bank, will share his experience starting the bank in 1987 and what it has taken for the bank to grow into one of the largest privately held banks in Illinois with the presentation, "Every Big Business started as a small business.”

Additionally, a keynote address will be delivered by David Oppedahl, business economist for The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.

Many small business owners will attend, providing an excellent networking opportunity, plus food, fun and more.
