Neuqua Valley defeats South Elgin
Megan Childs’ 2-run single in the bottom of the fifth broke a 4-4 tie, and No. 16 Neuqua (11-4, 7-3 Upstate Eight Conference Valley Division) made it stand in Naperville for a 6-5 victory against South Elgin. Rebecca Lincoln was 2-for-3 with a triple, double and 2 RBI and Jena Boudreau was 2-for-3 with an RBI for the Wildcats.

Stephanie Starr went 2-for-2 with 2 RBI and scored a run for Lake Park.
