Drilling here would pay off at the pump

Don’t blame Libya for the high prices at the gas pump. Libya produces only about 2 percent of the world’s oil, and the bulk of their output goes to Europe.

It is estimated the United States has enough undeveloped oil to satisfy our country’s needs for 100 to 150 years, but the Obama administration has shut down drilling offshore and on land.

Let’s put the blame for exorbitant gas prices where it belongs — on President Obama.
