Book fair raises cash for veterans:
An Honor Flight Chicago book fair at the Lincolnshire Barnes and Noble store raised more than $2,500, which is enough money to send five veterans to Washington, D.C. to view the nation’s war memorials, Stevenson High School announced. Two Stevenson clubs, Partners For Success and Students Helping Soldiers, sponsored the book fair. Barnes and Noble will donate a percentage of online book sales made at its website, www.bn.com, through Friday, too. Purchasers will need to type 10438935 in the coupon code area.
