Some ways to make the budget work
Now it becomes perfectly clear, The president has spoken in his budget address that the Democratic Party has a lack of responsibility and knowledge of economics. His so-called savings of $4 trillion is a sham, according to the CBO. If it were true, then a raising of the debt ceiling would not be necessary.
He has stated that the new budget will not be a bipartisan endeavor and eliminated any and all Republican suggestions for solving our catastrophic debt problem. If the president were truly honest about this problem he would reduce the pay scale of senators and representatives back to 2006 levels. Reduce federal employee levels to 2006. Eliminate all earmarks and add-ons to all bills passed in the past two years. With the stumbling block in health care, just take care that all U.S. citizens are covered by insurance that is transferable to all states the person may move to, and cover all pre-existing conditions. This should take 200-300 pages at most, not 2,000.
Eliminate all payments and health care to noncitizens, free cellphones and education costs. Also, stop giving monies to nations that do not go along with our ideals of freedom. And lastly, all laws passed are without earmarks and apply to all government employees, senators and representatives. That should make a good start.
