Vernon Hills collects electronics

The village of Vernon Hills, in cooperation with the Solid Waste Agency of Lake County, is sponsoring an electronics disposal event from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 30 at the village’s public works facility, 490 Greenleaf Drive. Household chemical wastes will not be accepted during the event, and no commercial, institutional or governmental materials will be accepted. All items must be free of any packaging material and operating manuals. Visit www.lakecountyil.gov/swalco for a list of items that will be accepted.
