Mount Prospect expects rail crossing to be closed for repairs

Canadian National Railroad will begin track repair work next month that potentially will impact Mount Prospect residents, village officials announced.

The Euclid Avenue railroad crossing, east of Wolf Road, will be completely closed beginning at 8 a.m. Friday, May 6 until Friday, May 13 at 6 p.m. Detour signs will be set up to route motorists around the closure using River, Kensington and Wolf roads.
