Hultgren blew it on austere budget

Congressman Hultgren, along with almost all other House Republicans, voted April 18 in favor of the brutal budget proposed by Rep. Ryan. This budget would essentially destroy Medicare and gut Medicaid in coming years in exchange for yet another tax cut for the wealthiest Americans.

I am appalled by their vision for my country and believe that Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, public education and environmental protection reflect the best in American values. I look forward to helping make Randy Hultgren a one-term representative for the 14th District.
