“You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Revised)” is a musical comedy based on the “Peanuts” comic strip characters created by Charles M. Schulz with music and lyrics by Clark Gesner. The musical features the well-known and beloved characters Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus, Sally, Schroeder, Peppermint Patty and Snoopy interacting in comedic scenes and ends with the kids realizing and expressing what happiness really means to them.

Songs include, “Happiness,” “Suppertime,” “Schroeder,” “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” and many others.

Lincoln’s annual school musical is directed by Leslie Thomas with assistance from Lindsey Bassett, and choreographed by Julie Thompson and Jeff Nellessen. The production includes over 30 student cast members, who auditioned for roles in late fall, and a stage crew of student and parent volunteers who help change the sets and run the lighting and sound for the shows.

The cast, crew and parent volunteers design, build and paint the sets under the guidance of teachers Leslie Thomas, Lindsey Bassett and two student directors. Musical accompaniment is provided by Lions Park School music teacher Carolyn Story and Lincoln Principal Don Angelaccio.
