Budget losing its constitutional focus
This month, hundreds of congressmen of both parties voted for unconstitutional spending. The Constitution states, in Article I, Section 8, all of Congress’ powers, and it doesn’t mention the words “health,” “radio station” or “TV station.” Therefore, federal spending on Planned Parenthood, NPR and PBS are unconstitutional. I hope that all those in Congress who voted for that spending will lose in 2012. If Republicans voted for that spending, they should lose their primaries.
