Kindergarten survey in District 73:

Hawthorn Elementary District 73 is asking residents to participate in an online survey regarding optional full-day kindergarten, to be posted Monday, April 25 at www.hawthorn73.org. A task force considering the district’s financial situation, recently proposed an optional tuition-based all day kindergarten be considered as a revenue source. The district would continue to provide half-day kindergarten in the current form, while interested families could pay for all-day kindergarten. Providing such a program would require an initial investment.
