Palatine Park District hosts kite fly April 30

The Palatine Park District will host its 7th Annual Flying 4 Kids event at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 30, at the Margreth Riemer Reservoir, located at Wood, Quentin and Palatine roads.

The event, and others like it held across the state, was started to create awareness for parks, recreation and the Park District Youth License Plate program.

The free all-ages event will include free kite kits to the first 50 children participating, as well as raffles. For more information, call the park district at (847) 991-0333.
