Vernon Hills tops Lake Forest again
Vernon Hills 10, Lake Forest 4: Anna Lebiedzinski scored 3 goals and assisted on another, and Dana Andrea added 2 goals and 2 assists, as the Cougars defeated the Scouts for the second time this season.
Vernon Hills (10-4) also received goals from Ellie Silver, Kristen Schrems, Jane Chen, Katie Manning and Lina Alsamsam. Silver added 5 assists, while Schrems had a pair.
Andrea also had a team-high 11 steals. Lebiedzinski and Chen each recorded five.
Cougars goalie Gena Lopez had 5 blocks and 1 steal.
