Diamond Lake boat launch permits

Launch permits for boats and personal watercraft using Diamond Lake in Mundelein are available. The non-transferrable permit allows registered Illinois boat and personal watercraft owners to launch from the Mundelein Park District’s dock/lake access and keyed parking area on the waterfront on Diamond Lake Road. Fees are based on the type of watercraft and where the owner lives. A valid boat registration card and tow vehicle license plate number are required. Permit purchases can be made from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. week days at the Mundelein Community Center, 1401 N. Midlothian Road, or until 9 p.m. in the lobby.
