COD Announces Student Election Results

College of DuPage recently announced the winners of the Student Leadership Council and Student Trustee election.

Justin LeMay (of Elmhurst) and Kathleen Vega (of Naperville) were elected SLC president and vice-president, respectively, and Lydia Whitten (of Woodridge) was elected Student Trustee.

Student elections were held March 22 and 23 through an online balloting system.

LeMay and Vega will serve one-year terms for the 2011-2012 academic year. Whitten serves a one-year term and will be sworn in at the April 28 Board of Trustees meeting.
