Party has it right in Island Lake

The RIGHT party of Island Lake seems to consist of three people who have been listening to the people of Island Lake. They get us. They understand us. They are proposing to cut costs with simple measures such as bringing on a village manager who can do a lot of the same work the law firm is doing, but at considerably less cost. They want to update the website so that it is intuitive and current. Our website is embarrassing. We should be able to pay our bills online, register for a rec program and apply for a permit. We should be able to find the most recent meeting minutes, a budget, and a place to personally contact Trustees. I like what the RIGHT party stands for. That’s why I’m voting for Shannon Fox, Thea Morris, and Joe Ptak.
