Conant 10, Larkin 0: Conant junior Briana Cavin, a Wisconsin-Green Bay recruit, allowed Larkin (2-2) just 1 hit in this nonconference game. “They were a very good team,” Larkin coach Larry Hight said of Conant. “We were not ready for their pitching, We got 1 hit and 1 walk. Conant is not in (the Daily Herald) Top 20 for nothing.” Lexi Smithberg suffered the loss in the circle for the Royals.
