Streamwood should keep Patterson on board

I am writing to express my support for the re-election of Streamwood Village Trustee Guy Patterson. Guy has been a strong advocate for the village and has earned the support of its residents. He has been active in many civic organizations, in addition to his duties as village trustee.

Contrary to what some people think, there is nothing glamorous or profitable about being a trustee of a mid-sized municipality like Streamwood. Guy and his wife, Lori, support themselves by working normal, everyday jobs, just like the rest of us. Guy Patterson is as far removed from the label “professional politician” as you can get.

I know, and the residents of Streamwood know, that Guy pours his heart and soul into the job of trustee. He does whatever it takes to try to bring people together and solve whatever problems may come up. No one does more for this village.

Guy has earned my vote and he should have earned the vote of every resident in Streamwood.
