Roselle woman charged with DUI following accident
A 39-year-old Roselle was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following an accident in Hanover Park.
Tamara Tuman, of the 600 block of Glacier Trail, Roselle, was headed west on Irving Park Road, just west of East Avenue when her green Toyota hit a white Chevrolet head on, officials said.
Both Tuman and the driver of the other car were taken to St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates for minor injuries and later released, officials said.
Tuman’s blood alcohol level was a .261, an assistant state’s attorney said in bond court Saturday morning. Tuman had two prior DUI incidents on her record.
A Cook County judge set bail at $5,000, meaning Tuman had to post $500 to be released.
