SHS students take debate honors
Schaumburg High School students Sylwia Dutka and Krzysztof (Kris) Szypcio, both sophomores, took home medals from the Illinois Speech and Theatre Association State Debate Tournament on March 12.
Sylwia finished secpnd in the Congressional Debate competition, while Kris was fifth in the Lincoln-Douglas Debate category. Kris also was recognized as the “Top Speaker” for the tournament.
