3 charged in Hanover Park arson, burglary

A DuPage County grand jury has indicted three men in connection with a Feb. 27 arson and burglary in Hanover Park, authorities said Wednesday.

The felony complaint charges Omar Angon, 22, of Hanover Park; Raul Perez, 20, of Hanover Park; and Pedro Sandoval, 24, of Streamwood, with one count each of residential burglary and arson.

According to the allegations, the trio entered a man’s home on the 27W400 block of Devon Avenue with plans to commit theft, then set fire to the building. All three men were being held in the county jail on $250,000 bail each. They are scheduled to appear in court Monday.
