Desperation Dinners: Mac and Cheese a grown-up meal

I crave macaroni and cheese on a monthly basis. When the hungries set in recently, I decided to spice up our regular Mac and Cheese recipe. I grabbed a spicy block of Pepper Jack from the cheese drawer. Next came the meatballs from the freezer, and I set out to make dinner.

Was I crazy?

Mac and Cheese with Meatballs: Is that a dinner for adults? Sounds more like a desperate dinner to get kids to eat, but any other dish would not satisfy my cravings. I had to have Mac and Cheese with Meatballs.

Less than 20 minutes later, I was sitting down to a steaming bowl of ooey, gooey, spicy and creamy macaroni with the added punch of meatballs. Mmm — just what I was craving!
