Kirk Players present 'The Glass Slipper'

The Kirk Players present "The Glass Slipper," the classic story of Cinderella and her mean stepmother and stepsisters.

The show will open at 7 p.m. Friday, April 8 in the Mundelein High School theater, 1350 W. Hawley St.

It runs through the weekend with matinee performances at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 9 and Sunday, April 10. An additional evening performance is planned for Satuday evening at 7 p.m.

Director Jon Matousek commented, "We are planning on having some fun and engaging theatre for all our patrons, especially the little ones. Bright costumes, brassy music, fun special effects, and a script full of humor will keep the whole family entertained. We've addded a special twist that will allow the audience to take a role in the story. And, just before the prince is about to try the slipper on the remaining ladies in the palace, the palace herald will invite some young audience members up to the stage to try on the glass slipper. Should be lots of fun!"

Tickets are available by visiting www.kirkplayers.com or calling (847) 223-2714. Make plans to attend today!
