Nothing about gun rights march

Nothing about gun rights march

I picked up your newspaper today, and on the front page I saw a large photo and article about the Wisconsin battle over union issues. On Page 10, I saw an article about similar issues in Indiana. And on the back page, I had the pleasure of reading even more about Charlie Sheen.

But nowhere in your newspaper do I see a photo, article or slightest mention of the Illinois State Rifle Association’s organized march in Springfield for IGOLD (Illinois Gun Owners Lobby Day.) Thousands of Illinois citizens marched to the capitol building to visit their elected officials and express their concerns over gun rights, and the suggested publication of FOID card holders’ information.

It seems to me that something happening right here in Illinois should be included in the news you choose to provide us. Was this just on oversight, or was it your way of avoiding informing your readers of the pro-gun population in our state?
