Architecture class at Adler Center goes through mock jury

The David Adler Music and Arts Center's Youth Architecture class spent several weeks designing their own houses. On Monday, Feb. 28, the students presented their design concepts which were reviewed by experienced architects.

The class designs were extremely creative, including homes with laser tag, zombie rooms, and defense mechanisms. The jury was comprised of professional architects with experience in private and corporate practice. They helped further the discussion for the students on design concepts and basic drafting practices.

The David Adler Music and Arts Center in Libertyville will host another section of its Youth Architecture class beginning May 16. A section for current students who would like to continue will also be offered.
