Mt. Prospect police deserve our thanks

I’m writing today because I believe Mount Prospect residents deserve to know what a great police force they have. Their intuition and professionalism is second to none.

My last encounter with the Mount Prospect police showed me just how street sharp and community orientated this department is and that they all need to be commended and recognized for the work they do.

After living in this great community for many years I have had the opportunity to interact with the Mount Prospect police on more than one occasion. This is why I feel they should be recognized and rewarded for the great work they have done.

Police work is not easy, especially in these times when police officers are often demagogue by politicians and special interest groups and this is why the average police on the street needs to know that most people appreciate and support the officers and the freedoms the safety and protections they provide the residents of this wonderful community of Mount Prospect.

To all the policemen and women in Mount Prospect, thank you for your service. And may God continue to guide your heart and mind.
