Suzuki Violin Instructor Heather Williamson Adds Wednesdays to Schedule at The David Adler Music and Arts Center

Heather Williamson has recently expanded her teaching schedule to include Wednesdays!

Heather was 7 years old when she began violin lessons. She really enjoyed it and knew she wanted to continue playing. Heather received her Bachelor of Music in Viola Performance from Valparaiso University, and her Master's Degree from The Hartt School of Music. Her favorite piece to perform is Bach's Cello Suites for Viola, and enjoys listening to music by composers Shostakovich and Beethoven. Heather is certified in the Suzuki method of instruction through book five. Your next opportunity to hear Heather play will be at the Julius Meinl Coffee House on Lincoln in Chicago on March 11th. And don't miss the Adler Center's Suzuki Violin Students performing at the opening reception of “An Exhibition: The David Adler Music and Arts Center Celebrates the Arts” on March 18th from 7:00-9:00pm.

As a teacher, Heather enjoys building relationships with the students and their whole families (including siblings!) in a nurturing environment in accordance with the Suzuki philosophy. She says, “It is so rewarding to see young students progress and develop as violinists, musicians, and as human beings.”
