Rhode, Hochstadt and Domke in Roselle

Daily Herald Editorial Board

Experience is the quality that most distinguishes the candidates for village board in Roselle, and on that score three candidates stand out.

Incumbents Richard Rhode and Barbara Rendall Hochstadt both bring good direct experience with issues, independence and sincere concern for the future of the village.

Among the challengers, Wayne Domke has the more extensive civic resume, and his experience as a Roselle Park District commissioner is particularly valuable.

Eleanor Paletta is a particularly strong newcomer, and we applaud her as well as newcomers Todd Eichholz and Ronald Baker for their interest in serving but we would like to see more village-specific involvement on their resumes.
