Help those who might injure others

In reply to Patti Siwicki’s comments in the Feb. 19 Fence Post with the headline “Words can motivate the less stable to act,” I would agree that the rhetoric should be toned down without losing the message. But I think that the greater problem is that the “least-rational people” she referred to should be given the treatment and care they need so that they will do no harm. Until this is done, we are all sitting ducks waiting for next irrational thought to be acted upon.
