Slick conditions cause Streamwood crashes

Streamwood firefighters reported two crashes related to slick road conditions Saturday night.

Firefighters said an extrication was necessary following a two-car crash at 6 p.m. at Bartlett Road and Jefferson Street. However, there were no major injuries, authorities said.

Firefighters said five or six cars were involved in a crash at 6:30 p.m. at Schaumburg Road and Fallstone Drive. There were no injuries, firefighters said, but there was damage to property.
