New principals in Arlington Heights District 25

Four new principals have been named to fill upcoming vacancies created by retirements in Arlington Heights Elementary District 25, Superintendent Sarah Jerome announced.

Brian Kaye will be the Thomas Middle School principal. He’s been principal at Windsor Elementary School for the previous five years and also served as assistant principal at South Middle School. His educational degrees come from College of DuPage, University of Illinois and Aurora University.

Shelley Fabrizio will move to Windsor Elementary School. She has been principal of Greenbrier Elementary School for five years. Before that, she was Director of Early Childhood Services and pupil personnel and special

education supervisor in Highland Park. Her educational degrees come from University of Illinois and National Louis University.

Eric Olson will become the new principal at Patton Elementary School. He currently serves as principal of Elm Place Middle School in Highland Park. Prior to his work in Highland Park, he served as assistant principal at Parkview School in Morton Grove. His educational degrees come from Northeastern University and National Louis University.

Rebecca Fitzpatrick will join the district as principal of Olive-Mary Stitt Elementary School. She served as assistant principal at Barrington Middle School Station Campus and as interim principal at Arnett C. Lines Elementary School. Her educational degrees come from Boston College, University of Massachusetts and Northern Illinois University.

The retiring principals are Tom O’Rourke, Thomas Middle School; Marybeth Anderson, Olive-Mary Stitt Elementary School; and Donna Devine, Patton Elementary School principal.

No announcement has been made about a new principal at Greenbrier.
