Messmer joins band concert at Fenton Feb. 27

Don't miss the big-band sound of Fred Lewis' Bensenville Wood Dale Concert Band, at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 27 at Lewis-Huffman Auditorium at Fenton High School, 1000 W. Green St. in Bensenville.

Vocalist Wayne Messmer, the Chicago Cubs announcer who is also famous for performing "The Star-Spangled Banner" for Cubs, White Sox and Blackhawks, will be featured.

The concert is sponsored by the Bensenville Arts Council. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for senior citizens and students. Tickets may be purchased at the door.
