Island lake fire, police commission to meet

Island Lake’s fire and police commission board will meet Tuesday in closed session to discuss personnel issues and legal matters. Although the panel must convene the meeting publicly, it is legally allowed to go into closed session to discuss personnel issues or pending litigation, under the state’s Open Meetings Act. The session is set for 7 p.m. at village hall, 3720 Greenleaf Ave.
