Prairie Crossing spelling bee Tuesday

Prairie Crossing Charter School in Grayslake will host a sectional spelling bee at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. More than 30 schools are scheduled to compete in the sectional action. Prairie Crossing is a small, environmentally focused public choice school within the boundaries of Fremont Elementary District 79 and Woodland Elementary District 50. Prairie Crossing sixth-grade student Nicholas Radovan won the all-school spelling bee Feb. 10. Nicholas will be among the participants Tuesday.
