Let’s see civility from liberals, too

President Obama and his administration are encouraging conservatives to be civil. Were liberals civil when they called President Busch stupid and when they compared him to Stalin? Was he civil when he said that police officer James Crowley acted stupidly. Was Sen. Dick Durbin civil when he called our troops baby killers and compared them to Pol Pot? Or how about the president calling business CEO’s fat cats? Or bashing the health care providers?

The Obama administration has been anything but civil. His own press secretary lashed out at liberals he dubbed the professional left, saying “some of them should be drug tested.” However, now that the Republicans have won the House and the president needs them to further some of his agendas, he wants everyone to be civil.

Mr. President, you have not been civil; why should the conservatives be any different?
