Bartlett

Ÿ Claude E. Lenoir, 21, of the 1700 block of Burr Oak Drive, Homewood, was arrested around 2:45 a.m. Feb. 12 at Lake and Walnut streets and charged with speeding and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. His court date is March 2.

Ÿ Vandals smashed a car window on Francine Drive around 10:40 p.m. Feb. 15. Damage was estimated at $250.

Hanover Park

Ÿ Carmen D. Singletary, 45, of the of the 0-100 block of Middlesex, Carpentersville, was arrested around 6 p.m. Feb. 17 at 7580 Barrington Road and charged with retail theft.

Ÿ Jovan A. Martinez, 19, of the 600 block of Hayward, Streamwood, was arrested around 10:25 p.m. Feb. 16 on the 7600 block of Barrington Road and charged with possession of marijuana.

Ÿ Juan Joseph M. Diaz, 35, of the 800 block of Pineberry, Brandon, Fla., was arrested around 7:25 p.m. Feb. 16 at East and Irving Park roads and charged with possession of marijuana.

Ÿ Anthony W. Ramos, 40, of the 7400 block of Cumberland, Hanover Park, was arrested around 3:15 p.m. Feb. 14 and charged with obstructing and resisting.

Ÿ Gregory R. Pester, 62, of the 0-100 block of Evergreen, Streamwood, was arrested around 12:25 p.m. Feb. 13 at 7435 Barrington Road and charged with retail theft.

Ÿ Jerry Buckner, 54, of the 7400 block of Truman, Hanover Park, was arrested around 7:15 p.m. Feb. 13 at his home and charged with aggravated assault and aggravated battery.

Ÿ Vandals used a rock to damage a truck on the 7600 block of Weymouth around 11:30 p.m. Feb. 15.

Ÿ Burglars smashed a window and stole a laptop computer from a desk on the 5600 block of Court Tiburon around 5 a.m. Feb. 13.

Hoffman Estates

Ÿ Vandals flattened two passenger’s-side tires on a 2000 Mercury Villager, spray-painted a Nazi symbol on the garage door and sprayed other graffiti on the front door at a townhouse on the 1900 block of Oxford Lane between 9 p.m. Feb. 14 and 6:30 a.m. Feb. 15. Vandals also cut telephone and TV wires at a cable box/telephone box outside the home.

Ÿ Vandals punctured four tires on a 1996 Ford Mustang at Governors and Chelmsford lanes between 11:30 p.m. Feb. 13 and 12:59 p.m. Feb. 14. Damage was estimated at $400.

Ÿ Burglars broke into a 1999 Dodge Durango in a business lot on the 5500 block of Prairie Stone Parkway between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. Feb. 17 and stole a cell phone and charger. Value was estimated at $150.

Ÿ Thieves stole a package containing seven cosmetic items left by UPS in a common hallway outside the front door at an apartment on the 1700 block of Sussex Walk around 2:15 p.m. Feb. 16. Value was estimated at $175.

Schaumburg

Ÿ Burglars broke into a 2011 Chevrolet Traverse SUV in a hotel lot at 1551 Thoreau Drive between 6:30 and 8:40 p.m. Feb. 9 and stole a black bag containing a laptop computer and sunglasses. Loss was estimated at $2,640. Burglars also broke into a 2009 Dodge Ram truck in the same lot during the same time and stole a bag containing a laptop computer, traveler’s checks, and passport. Loss was estimated at $3,250. Burglars also broke into a 2006 Audi and stole a bag containing an iPad, cell phone and sunglasses. Loss was estimated at $2,240.

Ÿ Scott C. Iwasiuk, 18, of the 1600 block of Cornell Place, Schaumburg, was arrested around 7:40 p.m. Feb. 13 in a restaurant lot at 522 W. Golf Road and charged with disorderly conduct. A witness reported seeing him holding a long gun while sitting with two passengers in his car; officers found a BB gun rifle in the car. His court date is March 24.

Ÿ Vandals smashed the door window on an exterior door at an apartment building on the 1900 block of Prairie Square around 5 p.m. Feb. 9. Damage was estimated at $500.

Ÿ Thieves stole several spools of heavy-gauge electrical wiring from a job site at a clubhouse at 1220 E. Algonquin Road between Feb. 11 and 13. Value was estimated at $1,000.

Ÿ Thieves forced open a locker and stole $3,000 out of a jacket pocket in a men’s locker room at Lifetime Fitness, 900 E. Higgins Road, between 9:40 and 10:40 p.m. Feb. 15.

Ÿ Thieves stole a wallet valued at $150 out of a customer’s purse hanging on the victim’s chair in Mad Mark’s Pizza, 871 E. Algonquin Road, between 11 p.m. Feb. 15 and 12:45 a.m. Feb. 16.
