House of Hope hosts Mardi Pawz March 6

Our House of Hope K-9 Rescue is hosting its first ever "Mardi Pawz," a costumed event for dogs and humans alike. The event is being sponsored by Green Tree Animal Hospital of Libertyville and K-9 Playtime of Mundelein.

It will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, March 6 at K-9 Playtime, 403 Washington Blvd., Unit 1 in Mundelein.

All children, adults and their well-behaved canine companions (must be leashed and up- to-date on all vaccines) are welcome to attend.

There will be a costume parade, Event photos by Cindy Falstad Photography, crowning of the royal canine court, canine/human cuisine, a King Cake Walk, other games and raffles.

Carolee Biddle, an animal communicator, will be available to tell you what your dog is thinking. To schedule a 15-minute session with her during the event, call (847) 395-5044. All proceeds from this event benefit the medical fund at Our House of Hope K-9 rescue.
