Hanover Township seeks youth committee members

Hanover Township is looking for interested adults and youth, 15 and older, to serve on the Township’s Committee on Youth (COY).

Membership is open to adults who reside or work in the community and youth who reside or attend a high school in the township. COY is a volunteer committee which serves in an advisory capacity to the Hanover Township board of trustees.

“The Committee on Youth is a tremendous asset not only to the Township Board but for also the entire community,” said Hanover Township Supervisor Brian P. McGuire. “We value the group’s diverse insight into problems facing youth and for their proactive approach to community involvement.”

The goal of the COY is the prevention of delinquency and the promotion of positive development in young people.

Those interested in serving can pick up an application from the township offices at 250 S. Route 59 in Bartlett or visit hanover-township.org. Completed applications are due by April 1.
