International piano students give recital at Roosevelt in Schaumburg

Six soloists from all over the world who are now studying music at Roosevelt University gave piano recitals Monday at the Schaumburg campus.

The students from the school’s Music Conservatory were Alice Chenyang Xu, who began her studies at age 6 in Sichuan, China; Younjin An, a native of South Korea, who began her musical studies at age 11; Jana Pavlovska, a native of Macedonia, who began her music education at age 6; Yuan Zhuang, who was born in Shenyang, China, and began studying music at age 5; Chanmi Ryu, who was born in South Korea and began playing piano at age 4; and Junjie Xi, who has performed in China, Russia, the United States and Europe.
