Addison Parks holds forum on aquatic center Feb. 22

There may be plenty of snow now; however the Addison Park District is making plans for summer. Your opinion is needed to help determine future plans for Addison's outdoor public pool located at Community Park.

The Addison Park District Board of Commissioners would like input from Addison residents concerning the future of the Family Aquatic Center. This meeting will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22 at Community Recreation Center, 120 E. Oak St. in Addison.

“It is very important that we have community input at this meeting,” stated Park Board President Don Jessen. “We are trying to focus on a positive direction for the future status of our outdoor pool and would like for all perspectives to be considered before reaching a final decision.”

A brief PowerPoint presentation about the Family Aquatic Center is available on the district's website at www.addisonparkdistrict.org. Additional comments are welcomed via email to dpfaff@addisonparkdistrict.org. For more information, please call the park district administration office at (630) 833-0100.
