Immunization clinics in Lake Co.

The Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center offers immunization clinics for Lake County children. A parent or guardian must accompany all children.

Childhood immunization clinics will be held at the following locations and times.

• Lake County Health Department, Belvidere Medical Building Annex, 2303 Dodge Avenue, Waukegan. Mondays 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays 1 to 3 p.m.; Thursdays 1 to 6 p.m.; second Saturday of each month from 9 to 11 a.m. Call (847) 377-8470 for clinic and appointment information.

• VFW POST 4551, 75 North Ave, Antioch, 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16. Call (847) 377-8470. No appointment necessary.

• Wauconda Township Center, 505 W. Bonner Road, Wauconda, 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23. Call (847) 377-8470. No appointment necessary.

• Lake Forest Hospital, 660 Westmoreland Road, Lake Forest. 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 26. Call (847) 535-6112. No appointment necessary.

At the clinics, children can receive all routine childhood immunizations. The cost is $10; however, no one is denied services due to inability to pay. Parents are asked to bring their children's past immunization records. If a child has an immunization letter from a school nurse, it should also be brought to the clinic.
