St. Charles lawyer named partner at Wheaton firm

Erika N. Walsh of St. Charles has been named a partner in the family law firm of Schiller, DuCanto & Fleck. An associate in the Wheaton office of the Chicago-based practice for the past five years, she is a 2002 graduate of the University of Chicago Law School.

Known for her contributions to organizations that provide legal representation to the indigent, Walsh has received Pro Bono Service Awards from the DuPage Legal Assistance Foundation and the DuPage County Bar Legal Aid Program. During law school, she was honored for volunteering in a clinic that assists victims of police abuse.

“I knew Erika was a winner when I first encountered her as a law student in a class I taught,” said senior partner Donald C. Schiller. “She has demonstrated a passion for excellence in the practice of family law that is in line with our mission.”

Schiller, DuCanto & Fleck has been recognized as the largest matrimonial law practice in the United States. Its lawyers counsel clients with a team approach to achieve optimum results for individuals who face marriage dissolutions and other family transitions.

Walsh observed that, “within our firm are unparalleled resources that enable us to combine the highest degree of creativity with a relentless commitment to doing what is in the best interests of the individual and the family.”
