3 injured in Oakbrook Terrace crash

Three people were injured in a two vehicle crash in Oakbrook Terrace Thursday night, police said.

Authorities said the crash occurred at the intersection of Butterfield Road and Summit Avenue at around 8:30 p.m.

Two victims were transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove and a third was taken to Elmhurst Memorial Hospital with nonlife threatening injuries, police said.

Officials said the door of one vehicle needed to be torn off to reach one victim in the crash,
