Mubarak brought stability to Egypt

I hope the people are a little smarter than some of our leaders in Washington. Haven’t we seen this picture before? Well, I heard Hillary Clinton speaking of Democratic reforms for Egypt. Now, does anyone really think that if Mubarak’s government falls the sun is going to shine and all the people are going to hold hands and sing Kumbaya?

Let’s be rational. In this country our government is devising ways to take away our freedoms. If Mubarak’s government fails, there is no doubt whatever takes its place will be just as brutal and repressive. May I remind everyone of the Shah of Iran and how that turned out and who the antagonizing influences in Egypt are right now?

If Mubarak is our friend it would be better for our government to support him than call for his ouster.
