District 73 holds finance forum

Hawthorn Elementary District 73 will host a finance forum at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10 at Hawthorn Middle South, 600 N. Aspen Drive, Vernon Hills.

The public forum will outline the work of a financial advisory task force and ideas for closing an anticipated $1.5 million to $2 million gap in next year's budget. The public also is invited to a meeting of the group from 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 16 at the District 73 office, 841 West End Court, Vernon Hills.
