Glendale Heights parking ban remains

All roads in Glendale Heights were declared “passable” Thursday by village officials.
However, an on-street parking ban will remain in effect until 11 a.m. Saturday to give crews time to clear all remaining snow, spokeswoman Gina Thorson said.
Deputy Police Chief Tom Bialas said the parking ban goes into effect when there are more than five inches of snow on the ground. He said abandoned vehicles will be towed at the owner’s expense.
