Giehler files as Prospect Hts. write-in
Kurt U. Giehler has filed as a write-in candidate for mayor of Prospect Heights. Giehler is running against Dolly Vole, the incumbent, and Nicholas “Nick” Helmer.
Giehler said he also plans to challenge in court the decision by the city’s election board ruling him off the ballot. The board said he did not have enough valid signatures of registered voters. Giehler said he is having difficulty getting the city to produce the documents on its decision he needs for his court appeal.
