Back to normal in Fox River Grove
All streets in Fox River Grove were plowed by 3 p.m. Wednesday, and by this morning crews had completed a second plowing to make sure all the snow is pushed back to the curb and mailbox lines, Village President Robert Nunamaker said.
“We’re pretty much back to normal,” he said.
The village’s Metra station, at 4015 N. Northwest Hwy., will remain open overnight for the next couple of nights to serve as a warming station, he said. Normally the police department locks the train station overnight.
No power outages or snow emergencies were reported, he said. Village hall was closed on Wednesday but reopened today.
