This aspect distinguishes CLC from all post-secondary education resources.Key Issue 2 Community colleges are the pathway to change course after being a high school dropout. Returning to this instructional arena can be a key move: obtain your GED and continue to grow in higher academic/vocational achievement.Key Issue 3 CLC enrollment has shown marked increases in the past few years. I support a revived capital bill which will fund expansion of CLC construction projects in Waukegan and Grayslake.Questions Answers With enrollment up at my many community colleges, it can be challenging to keep pace as far as available classroom/lab space, the number of qualified teachers and available course work options. Is there a service your college should be providing that it is not, or reaching a segment of the population that it is not?CLC can always improve on attracting disadvantaged workers who benefit by retraining. Additionally, high school dropouts who found the classroom a bore can now appreciate this learning environment. If you are a newcomer, what prompted you to run for the park board?
