If yes, please explain: Candidate did not respond.Candidate's Key Issues Key Issue 1 my number one issue is to be a better communicator with the people of lake in the hills. i want people to know that someone is willing to listen to them.Key Issue 2 the second thing that i want to do is take a hard look at the stats before and after installation of the red light cameras. while they were a good revenu generator, they may not be cost effective and may be past their prime.Key Issue 3 i would love to see our village doing as much as possible with alternative energy. if we can be a leader in this we should be. at this point i dont know if that is just solor power at village hall or flex fuel cars but i would love to be involved in part of that movementQuestions Answers What makes you the best candidate for the job?what makes me the best candidate is the fact that i am not a politician. i am not a lawyer or banker. im not a real estate mogal. i am interested in this position to be the link between the common person and the village government. im not afraid to speak up and im not afraid to disagree if i think its the right thing to do. i am also smart enough to not let my ego get in the way. there are things taking place that i will not know, and im not afraid to say i dont understand please break it down better for me.Given the delicate balance between the need for revenue and over-taxing local businesses, what is your opinion of your community's present level of local sales taxes? Is the tax just right, too low or too high? Explain.i think that we compare pretty well in this area compared to the best places to live as rated by money magazine.Talking with your friends and neighbors, what seems to be their biggest public safety concern? Explain the concern as you see it, and discuss how you think it should be addressed.as i talk to my neighbors the biggest concern is the amount of higher profile crimes that are taking place in our area. there have been prostitution and some big drug busts in our area of lateIn these tight economic times, municipal budgets have to be prioritized.
